'Federal Rules of Evidence Handbook' book jacket
The Federal Rules of Evidence, like any substantive or procedural code, can be difficult to understand. Especially complex can be the relationships between and among the Rules. Elias focuses exclusively on the Federal Rules of Evidence, since a majority of states have adopted the Federal Rules themselves, or some version of them. The text is concise, with each rule set out at the beginning of the chapter, followed by an explanation and examples. Used as a study guide, the text should make the Rules more understandable to law students enrolled in evidence courses or preparing for the bar exam, although general practitioners will find the handbook helpful as well.
