The 2007 Case Supplement updates the 2005 main text of Sexuality Law by adding more than two year's worth of new cases, legislation, and other developments. There are updates for all of the seven chapters, but 100 of the 181 pages of the update are dedicated to changes in Chapters Four and Five, which focus on family law issues. New marriage cases replace the ones in the text and readers are alerted to pending litigation.

This is a field of law in which rapid changes are occurring. For anyone who wants to teach these issues, based on the current state of the law, this supplement is an essential tool. In addition to including the most recent cases, it notes other specific cases and issues that were pending when the supplement went to press. The supplement also includes an appendix summarizing the current laws of the various states regarding same-sex marriage.
