The Intellectual Property Institute at William Mitchell College of Law has authored ten Amicus Briefs in the last two years on pressing intellectual property cases that have shaped American IP law. These are cutting-edge cases raising important substantive concerns in IP in America today. The objective in writing these briefs is to argue for, and help courts see, the value of balance in our IP system. This book is the result of the Institute’s Amicus Brief writing efforts and hopes to contribute to the development of IP in America in a balanced and responsible manner.
